Flexible bracelet cell phone

Philips Fluid is a concept smart-phone by Dinard da Mata, a designer from Brazil. The phone flexes to form a bracelet and can be worn on one’s wrist.
It also doubles as a very cool gaming console and multimedia player. The OLED display is bright and gives the phone a really attractive look and feel.

How do you carry your mobile phone? In your pocket? In a case? In your bag? Or somehow else? This is quite banal, don’t you think so? If you want to try an absolutely new way of carrying a mobile phone, than do pay your attention to the Philips Fluid phone by Brazilian designer DInard da Mata. In his new concept the designer offers to wear the phone on the wrist. Well, at the same time it is impossible to say that this is a phone – bracelet.

This phone has much in common with the Bricell concept. However, the Philips Fluid has lots of really great advantages – this phone has a great sensor interface that is bright due to the OLED display. Possibilities of the interface are really fantastic – the device is very comfortable to use, because it easily switches from mobile phone to multi-media player or portable game console. I wonder – what do Philips think about this invention? Does the Fluid have real chances?
